Kablam-o! keeps track of when really good webcomics are updated and posts the updates here.
The list of comics that totally rock is primarily compiled by Hannah (the
good ones) and Tom (the immature gross ones).

I will be at EMERALD CITY COMIC CON this weekend! Come find me at the huge-ass Topatoco booth! It will be a PARTY

I was gonna write funny follow-up text here but I think I'll turn it into Tuesday's comic instead!
Okay here is the plan for this week I think- I am gonna be at Emerald City Comic Con this coming weekend, and will need a "day off" for travel. So I am gonna run a non-regular QC strip on Friday, most likely, and work ahead so that regular QC will resume on Monday.
I HOPE THAT IS OKAY
I HOPE THAT IS ACCEPTABLE TO YOU
Finally, some records that are either out or coming out that I think you should buy or download ASAP:
Anthony "Shake" Shakir- Frictionalism 1994-2009: A 3-disc set collecting the works of one of the godfathers of modern dance music. Essential.
Mark E- Works 2005-2009: Another compilation, this time of sexy The Field-esque disco edits.
High on Fire- Snakes for the Divine: HOLY SHIT this might be HoF's best album to date. Pummeling, bludgeoning stoner metal.
Fang Island- Fang Island: Imagine if Dan Deacon and the Hold Steady teamed up to write a self-help rock album. It would probably sound a lot like this. Easily one of the best records of 2010 so far.

"W-well...at least you didn't get slapped with a DICK!"
"I've never even seen a dick in real life."
"Dammit Marigold you are making it hard to be flippant."

Today's strip is a loving homage (or blatant ripoff, depending on how you look at it) to Azumanga Daioh, which is probably my favorite manga/anime of all time, and has been a huge influence on QC. I recommend grabbing a copy of the omnibus and immersing yourself in it, even if you don't normally like them Japanese-type comic books.
See you tomorrow!
